New ESL team: Campus Drone Project (Tour Guide) ready for Fall 2018

Dr. Brandon Stark, Director of the UCOP EHS COE of UAS Safety Center and the Research Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dept. of UC Merced, took the initiative to mentor a new Engineering Service Learning  team on "Campus Drone Project" (campus tour guide) for making drones a routine part of the campus tour guide services. So you will see tour guiding drones on campus from time to time soon in Fall 2018. This is a parallel effort to this ESL Team UAV at http://uav.ucmerced.edu/, part of our bigger UAS4STEM drone education ecosystem.

The future is here! The brand new Engineering Service Learning team, Campus Drone Project, will be working with the UC Merced Visitors Center to incorporate drones into the UC Merced campus tours. This project is open to all undergraduates (Freshmen-Seniors, ALL Majors).
