MESA Lab Manager Brandon Stark was invited to serve a panel at the event  "Connecting the Dots in Unmanned Aerial Systems & Cyber Security" to be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM (PST), Pomona, CA. The invitation was extended by Professor Subodh Bhandari.

WHAT:

CalPoly Pomona and the LAEDC's SoCal Jobs Defense Council are hosting an invite-only event titled "Connecting the Dots in Unmanned Aerial Systems and Cyber Security. " 

The event speakers are still being confirmed, but we will have keynotes and breakout sessions from leaders in the industry, government (especially federal agencies), and academia with the following topics currently planned:

  • What are the trends and outlook for cyber security and unmanned aerial systems?
  • How can your company or academic institution begin transitioning into these industries or enhancing your existing workforce's skill sets?
  • What has changed in the industry in terms of technology and regulations and what do you need to do going forward to comply or be ahead of these changes?
  • What new contracting or other procurement opportunities exist for companies and academia in cyber security and unmanned aerial systems?
This will be an all-day event with breakfast, lunch and dinner served.
