Fractional Calculus and Source Seeking (FCSS)

Fractional Calculus and Source Seeking (FCSS) SIG

(Special Interest Group: Search the Science of Search)

This webpage was motivated by FCCD page. Source seeking is a complex problem. Human operator is a complex system, too. In practice, source seeking needs combined intelligence from swarm of mobile sniffers AND human operators. Complexity needs better understanding  through using fractional calculus, as taught in this book. So, it is quite straight forward to us that FCSS makes good sense. We examine this emerging new topic for a few years later to see if this still makes sense. Both deterministic and stochastic settings are considered.
